So I cheated on my diet today. Whoops....
How can you say no to a chocolate cupcake that your sister brought to you? I couldn't resist and oh my was it good.
On a good note, I've lost 4 pounds! Yippee!!! Hopefully I can be good tonight and not put it all back on. I also cheat every morning because I put cream in my coffee. I can't drink it black, I just can't.
School starts back in a week, YUCK. I am not looking forward to that.
Hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Where has the last 4 months gone??!
I've been slacking. So I'm going to try and recap my life in a few sentences.... I started graduate school and its been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I never studied during my undergraduate EVER and now thats about all I do! Who knew Speech Pathology would be so hard! On top of that I've decided I don't really like being a grown up, supporting myself is no fun. Isn't that when a significant other comes in handy?! I read blogs and facebook updates on my friends who have wonderful husbands and beautiful babies and it makes me sad I don't have that.
On a happy note, my parents and I are starting what's called the HCG diet. Its doctor directed and you have to take shots everyday... (Which is no bueno for me, I hate shots) You can only have a 6 oz piece of meat, fish, or chicken, a cup of veggies, and a fruit twice a day. Sounds ok right? WRONG...you can only eat certain kinds of veggies and out of the list I like 3 of them; green beans, zucchini, and lettuce. And you can only have steak, shrimp, white fish, crab, hamburger meat, and chicken. To top it off your choices for fruit are strawberries, an apple, or an orange. I may die. It's 10:00 a.m. and I'm already starving.
The blizzard sure made Christmas exciting this year. My family left our house at 5:00p.m on Thursday to have Christmas with my mom's side of the family. We got about a mile from my Aunt's and a pick-up was turned side ways in the middle of the street and a 12 year old idiot was shoveling snow away from the tires. So we decided to wait it out, I mean how long could it take? An hour later he was still at it...so we turned around to go a different way. This is when the fun began. On the other side was 4 cars stuck blocking the road. We sat there for 3 hours until finally some cowboy on a tractor pulled all the cars out. My mom kept treating to eat the cobbler we had in the back. I think she would have if we had a spoon or fork. We made it home at 9:10 p.m. without having Christmas.

You gotta slay a few dragons to get to your Prince
So I decided to start doing this blog because I have several friends who have them. I really liked reading them and seeing what my ole' friends are up to since I don't talk to them everyday. Anyway as I look for friends on here, I notice almost all of them are married. I guess I just never realized I was basically the only one left. In the words of Jillian Harris, "you gotta slay a few dragons to get to your Prince." Well I'm sick of slaying, I want my frog.
I start my Audiology program in two weeks and I'm getting nervous. For one, I know it's going to be so hard and for two, I will have no life. Studying will become my life. Maybe I'll find a cute doctor during my clinicals and we will fall in love. Doesn't that sound perfect? I think so.
For those of you know don't know, I am working at one of my father's dealerships right now. When I say dealership, you think cars right? Wrong, I'm proud to annouce I am a Kubota tractor and Polaris fourwheeler sales rep. It paid better than teaching so I took it. Plus its kinda cool when we are really slow and I get to take a fourwheeler out to the field behind us and 'test drive' it as I say.
I kinda suck at this blogging thing....It reminds me of xanga. Does anyone else remember that? Ha... We'd all be updating our blogs in our rooms in the Chi O dorm with the doors wide open, talking to one another. Man I miss that place sometimes.
